Why My Sunflower Logo Represents Strategy Plan Growth

Updated: May 12, 2023

Since I started my business, I’ve had a lot of people ask “why the sunflower logo?” so I thought I’d explain it in a blog.

I love gardening and my favourite flower is the sunflower, so I knew I wanted to have this somewhere in my logo as it represents me and my interests, but it’s also a good image for Pinterest marketing.

Why is Pinterest marketing like growing a sunflower?

Planting a sunflower seed in compost is like when a Pinterest manager creates a marketing strategy (the compost) then sets up and optimises your Pinterest business account (the seed).

You then need sunshine to grow your seed which is like the Pinterest manager creating eye catching, engaging pin images (the sunshine).

The seed then needs watered regularly and the Pinterest manager must regularly create content (the water).

The seedling and your Pinterest account must then have the time and space to grow with consistency needed for both and you end up with a flourishing strategic plan (the sunflower).

If you're thinking about using Pinterest for your business but don't know where to start, I can help! As a Pinterest Manager, I can help you set up and optimise your account, create engaging pins, and develop a strategic plan to grow your following and drive results.
